 Yavneh Board
Hey Yavneh! My name is Sarah, I’m from Brooklyn, I’m a Barnard junior studying English and I’m so excited to be your new president. Most days you’ll find me rewatching SNL clips, perusing ASOS or catching up on daf yomi but don’t let that stop you from coming over to say hi! So excited to meet you all!
Hey Yavneh! My name is Jonah Lubow, I'm a sophomore studying Psych and Statistics, and I am so excited to be your VP Chesed this year! I love getting to know new people and am always down to procrastinate. So if you see me doing work in the library, come talk to me about movies or basketball and we’ll become friends just like that.

Hi Yavneh! My name is Bina and I’m a sophomore at Barnard, most likely majoring in Psychology and Jewish Studies. I love reading, going on the occasional run, listening and obsessing over Noah Kahan songs, and making my way through my movie recs (if you have any, send them my way!) I’m so excited to serve as your VP Communication, and please don’t hesitate to reach out and say hi!
Hi everyone! I’m currently a sophomore in SEAS studying Computer Engineering. While on campus, I can be found in whichever library was closest to my most recent class, shtieging in the 4th floor beit midrash, or dining at the late shift of Hewitt dinner. Reach out if you want to talk Torah, or just hoch in general. I look forward to learning with all of you throughout the year!

Hey Yavneh! My name is Abigail Wolff, I’m a sophomore at Barnard studying Psychology, and I’m so excited to serve as VP Shabbat Chag! If I’m not singing Hamilton off tune or engaged in an intense Settlers game, you can probably find me spending way too much time in Lefrak or Hewitt. I’m so excited for the upcoming year and can’t wait to meet you all! Please reach out if you have any questions!
When he is not hunting boar or pillaging villages along the rocky coast, Sir Ariel of House David, Viceroy of Social activities and leader of the downtrodden works tirelessly to unify the land under his banner of casual communal bonding. His origins are unknown, however, scholars predict his arrival onto the continent came at sundown on the 4th month and 26th day during the last year of our great millennium. Since then, he was raised by wolves in the Forests of Westchester where he developed his trademark cunning yet merciful attitude. His journey from the Forests of beyond to the morning side valley is too long of a tale to contain in this short blurb, however it is one told at nearly every holiday and festival since his rise to power, at the end of this previous thawing. At the great king’s college institutions, he focuses his studies in both the arts of economics and the pages of history. We wish great success for our warrior scholar- leader and hope he raises the Yav of neh to unforeseen heights during the most recent deluge. Huzzah.

Gabbinate
I am a junior in CC studying Economics. I come from the distant holy city of Teaneck, NJ. In my youth I matriculated at the Mesivta of Frisch and then spent a year (just one) at Yeshivat Hakotel in the other holy city of Jerusalem. I am excited to take up the mantle of gabbai - a role hereto filled by many heilige yiddim - and dedicate these two years of my college experience solely to the wonderful people of Yavneh.
Hi everyone! I am a sophomore at Barnard from Springfield, MA – before you ask, yes, there is a chance the Simpsons’ Springfield is based on this one. I am excited to break the chain of having a Migdal Oz gabbait (woo Nishmat!). I don’t know what I’m studying yet, but don’t worry, I “still have time to decide.” I am really looking forward to working with all of you this year and can’t wait to meet you if I haven’t already!

Hello! I am a sophomore in GS studying Computer Science. I grew up on the Upper West Side and after spending two years at Yeshivat Orayta, I find myself back in my hometown. I am excited to continue my service as Gabbai and look forward to meeting all of you!
